Red Cross responds to multiple apartment floods in Sandy

SANDY, Utah — The Red Cross offered 13 people lodging and financial assistance after their homes were flooded Thursday night.
The American Red Cross of Utah Disaster Action Team responded to multiple reports of apartment flooding in the Promontory Point Apartments in Sandy.
The Red Cross said four units were flooded with two feet of water. They said they will assist those who had to leave their homes as they recover from the damage.
They encourage anyone in need of assistance to call them at (801) 892-4000 or visit redcross.org/utah.
