SALT LAKE CITY — Over three months after announcing his resignation from the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, wrapped up his final week in Congress.

Stewart announced his resignation at the end of May, citing concerns over his wife’s health. His resignation takes effect on Friday, ending a decade of serving in the U.S. House.

“It has been one of the great honors of my life to serve the good people of Utah in Congress,” Stewart said in the announcement.
