Utah Tech police looking for suspect in alleged assault incident

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Police on the campus of Utah Tech University are looking for a suspect who allegedly assaulted a student over the weekend.

Police say the victim was walking near Hurst Field when the incident occurred. Police say the suspect also approached two other students and attempted to start a conversation with them. The students reported the suspect acting in a suspicious manner.

Police say if you see the suspect, pictured below, to call 911 or police dispatch at 435-627-4300.

Police have increased their patrols and presence in the area.
