TREMONTON, Utah — A family has been displaced following a house fire Thursday evening.
The fire occurred in the area of 2520 W. 900 North around 6 p.m.
According to Tremonton Fire Chief Brady Hansen, the family was not at home at the time. He says there were no injuries reported.
Hansen says the fire started in the garage and spread to other parts of the home. He says roughly 50% of the home suffered damaged.
Hansen further states that the home is uninhabitable for the time being.
“It is definitely not inhabitable until there is an extensive renovation,” Hansen told KSL.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Hansen says the investigation will resume on Friday.
