Crash in Eagle Mountain puts two in serious condition

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah – According to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, A serious traffic accident occurred on Cory Wride Memorial Highway, just east of Mount Airey Road.
All lanes of traffic in the area were temporarily closed, and commuters were advised to find alternative routes. The road closure was expected to last for approximately one to two hours.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene, and the situation has now been resolved. All lanes are open.
The call came in at 5:03 PM, involving a 17-year-old boy driving west on Cory B. Wride Memorial Hwy (SR73) near Mt. Aubrey Dr.
He drifted over the center median, crashed head-on into an eastbound car, spun around a second car, and then collided with a third car equipped with a dash camera.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to the community for their patience during this incident.
