Five car pileup closes I-15 off-ramp in Cottonwood Heights

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah — Five vehicles were involved in an accident on I-15 today by the 7200 South northbound off-ramp.

The off-ramp has been temporarily closed as authorities investigate and initiate cleanup efforts.

Sergeant Chris Bishop with the Utah Highway Patrol said one person was transported to a nearby hospital, but their condition is unknown. Some minor injuries have been reported among the other individuals involved.
