Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-215 in West Valley City, troopers say

WEST VALLEY CITY — A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 in West Valley City Monday night, according to state troopers.
The motorcyclist was entering I-215 West while traveling northbound on 3500 South about 10:36 p.m. when the accident happened.
Troopers say the motorcycle rolled after leaving the roadway “for an unknown reason” and driving across loose dirt on the shoulder.
Investigators haven’t released more information about the driver who was killed, and the crash is still under investigation.
