Suspect in Millard County shooting turns himself in

MEADOW, Millard County — A man suspected in a Millard County shooting on Saturday turned himself in on Sunday, the Millard Sheriff’s Office said.
Zachary Pikyavit, 31, is now in custody, deputies said in a statement on Sunday.
Law enforcement in Millard County had been on the lookout for Pikyavit. He was considered armed and dangerous, the Millard County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday. The public had been warned to not contact Pikyavit if they saw him but to call police.
On Saturday, Millard County deputies and Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the Meadow area. The condition of the shooting victim has not yet been released.
The gunman fled the scene after the shooting, the sheriff’s office said.
