Vandalism at Utah Pride Center, police ask for public’s help

SALT LAKE CITY — Police are investigating vandalism at the Utah Pride Center after a volunteer noticed hate speech spray-painted on the main sign outside the center.
According to a release from SLCPD, the investigation began at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. They believe the vandalism occurred before 4:00 p.m. at the center, located at 1380 South Main Street.
The hate speech has since been removed by staff members.
SLCPD is asking for anyone with information to call 801-799-3000.
