LEHI, Utah — A crash on southbound I-15 in Lehi on Wednesday night may be linked to drunk driving.
In a text to KSL, the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed that a car traveling at a high rate of speed “hit the right wall” near milepost 280 and then entered the flow of traffic again, hitting a semi-truck.
UHP Sgt. Cam Roden said the semi continued without stopping. The driver of the vehicle, a Chevy Malibu, was in critical condition. The UHP said that person had to be extricated from their vehicle.
