OREM, Utah — An unoccupied home caught fire in Orem on Tuesday night, sending firefighting units from Orem, Provo, and Pleasant Grove scrambling to 450 East and 1450 North in Orem.
By 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Orem Deputy Fire Chief Shaun Hirst told KSL teams were still fighting the fire, and that an investigation into a cause had not yet begun.
Upon arrival, Hirst said officials determined nobody was inside the 27,000-square-foot home.
