Nicholas Rossi extradited to the U.S., prosecution will commence

SALT LAKE CITY — Nicholas Rossi has been extradited to the United States, according to the Utah County Attorney’s Office. He is accused of faking his death to avoid a rape charge in Utah.
Rossi was formally charged with rape on September 10, 2020, and an arrest warrant was issued by the Utah County Attorney’s Office.
According to a release from the office, Rossi was residing in Scotland at the time his arrest warrant was issued.
Now that he has returned to the U.S., the Utah County Attorney’s Office will move forward with the prosecution.
