ELSINORE, Sevier County — A 14-year-old girl was reported missing out of Sevier County on Saturday after she left home and did not return.
On Sunday, the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office announced the teenager had been located. The Sheriff’s Office says the girl is doing well and in good health.
The Sheriff’s Office had been looking for a teen, who was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, and white boat shoes. She has long black hair and is 5 feet, 4 inches tall.
Authorities did not say where teenager was going when she left her home on Saturday, or if her family knew where she would be. They didn’t mention where she was located on Sunday.
“We are currently making sure we have a better understanding of where she has been. Thank you to everyone for your help,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook posting.
