Hit-and-run leaves woman with life threatening injuries

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that occurred at 600 West and North Temple in SLC around 5 a.m. Monday.
According to police, they believe a car traveling southbound on 600 West ran a red light and hit a woman while she was in the crosswalk. Police say the driver then fled.
According to police, the intersection in that area was closed while the investigation took place. The intersection is now open.
SLC police said the victim of the hit-and-run was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
