Logan police hunt for hit-and-run driver

LOGAN, Utah — The Logan Police Department is searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run Saturday afternoon.
According to Logan police, the incident happened at 3:45 p.m. when a white GMC pickup traveling northbound on Main St. ran a red light and collided with a Chevy Silverado heading westbound on 700 N.
The collision caused the Silverado to crash into a motorcycle. The driver of the pickup fled the accident.
The motorcyclist, 48, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to police. No injuries were reported for the occupants of the Silverado.
Witnesses described the driver of the GMC as a white bearded man wearing a red shirt.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
