Defense rests case in Trump hush money trial

NEW YORK — Former President Donald Trump’s defense team rested their case for his hush money trial on Tuesday, just a day after the prosecution rested.

The defense rested without Trump taking the stand.

Closing arguments for the trial are expected to happen next Tuesday, the Associated Press reported.
