Motorcycle crash leads to death of a juvenile

WEST JORDAN, Utah — A juvenile has died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday morning around 7:08 a.m.
West Jordan Police Department’s Sgt. Andrew Hercules said it is believed the juvenile lost control of the motorcycle, leading to the crash.
Police said there was no indication of how much safety gear the juvenile was wearing at the time of the crash. Police also said there was also no indication of any club affiliation.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
The crash occurred in West Jordan on Mountain View Corridor Highway, near 9000 South. That area was closed while the scene was being investigated, the area is now open to traffic.
