One dead after road rage incident in Clearfield

CLEARFIELD, Utah — One person is dead after a road rage incident led to a shooting in Clearfield Monday night.

Clearfield City Police Department’s Devin Rogers said at 6:26 p.m., two cars got into a traffic accident. One car fled and the other car pursued it.
They chased each other for a few blocks, when one vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway in the area of 1200 West and 300 North.
The person who stopped their car approached the other car, shooting the driver. That person, who was in his 60s, died.
Rogers said the other person involved in the Clearfield road rage incident is in police custody.
