Search and rescue pulls hiker from Lisa Falls

SALT LAKE COUNTY — Salt Lake County Search and Rescue, alongside United Fire Authority, extracted an injured hiker from Lisa Falls on Friday. Rescue teams were sent in after a hiker fell 15 feet near the falls, receiving an “upper extremity injury” according to a report.
Lisa Falls is located in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
The rescue team provided medical treatment on site. After treatment, they loaded the hiker into a basket and lowered him down the face of the waterfall. He has been transported to a local hospital.
