SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Fire Department confirmed a field fire in the area of 900 West and 2100 South in Salt Lake City. 

The cause of the fire is unknown, according to Captain Brandt Hancuff with the SLCFD. 

There were no injuries, no road closures and no businesses were affected. 

The fire is now under control, Hancuff said.
