Motorcyclist killed in a Washington City crash Sunday morning

WASHINGTON, Utah — A motorcyclist died following a crash with a Jeep in Washington City Sunday morning.
Washington City police say at around 6:58 a.m., an “older” Harley Davidson motorcycle and a red Jeep Rubicon crashed at Coral Canyon Blvd and Telegraph Street.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, died on the scene after being ejected from his motorcycle.
Prior to the crash, the jeep was traveling east on Telegraph Street. The motorcycle rider was travelling west. As the Jeep attempted to turn left onto Coral Canyon Blvd., the motorcyclist struck the front bumper of the jeep, causing his ejection.

Washington City police said it appears that the Jeep’s driver didn’t see the motorcycle coming as it tried to turn. The driver is currently cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The intersection at Canyon Coral Blvd and Telegraph is closed for an ongoing investigation.
