Man hospitalized after officer-involved shooting in Roy

ROY, Utah — One man has been hospitalized after an officer involved shooting on Saturday night.
Sgt. Josh Taylor with the Roy City Police Department said a male suspect was shot by Roy police around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 5650 S. 2775 West.
That male suspect was then taken to the hospital. Police said on Saturday the man’s condition was not known and all officers involved in the shooting are fine.
Taylor said the Weber County Critical Incident team went out to the scene and took over the investigation.
