Power restored to over 21,000 customers in Utah County

UTAH COUNTY, Utah — A power outage temporarily affected over 21,000 customers on Friday morning, Rocky Mountain Power reported. RMP restored power by the next hour.
According to RMP, 21,837 customers in Cedar Fort, Eagle Mountain and Fairfield lost power due to a ” loss of transmission.”

Within an hour, the company reported that power had been restored to the affected areas.
