Moped driver dies after being hit by vehicle in American Fork

AMERICAN FORK, Utah — A moped driver in his mid-30s died after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night.
At around 9:30 p.m., the moped driver was travelling east near 300 North 700 East, when a driver headed west made a left-hand turn and hit the moped.
According to Lt. Stuart Fore with the American Fork Police Department, the situation is still under investigation.
The name of the man who died hasn’t been released.
