St. George woman found dead in home, husband arrested for alleged murder

ST. GEORGE, Utah — The St. George Police Department confirmed that a woman was found murdered in her home Monday morning.

SGPD said that at around 8:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 2800 South 2300 East.

They arrived on the scene to find 47-year-old Niki A. Sampson dead inside the home.

Her husband, Eric L. Sampson, 50, was arrested for suspected murder.

SGPD said the case is still under investigation.
