Father of teen suspect in Apalachee High School shooting arrested

WINDER, Ga. — Colin Gray, age 54, has been arrested in relation to the Apalachee High School shooting.
Colin is the father of Colt Gray, the 14-year-old arrested for the mass shooting at Apalachee High School.
Via X the Georgia Bureau of Investigations announced Colin Gray has been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.
He is charged with the following:
– 4 counts of Involuntary Manslaughter
– 2 counts of Second Degree Murder
– 8 counts of Cruelty to Children(2/3)

Two students and two teachers were killed in the shooting. Nine were injured and taken to the hospital. According to the GA Bureau of Investigation all nine hospitalized victims are expected to make a full recovery.
Also according to the GBI Colin “knowingly allowed” his son to have a gun. Including supposedly an AR-15 that was given as a Christmas gift.
