University of Utah warns about active stalker

SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah has issued a safety warning about a man stalking women on the University of Utah campus.
Oluwatobi Oludaisi Shokunbi, age 34, also known as “King Rocky” was last seen at Kahlert Village on Sept. 17. He was arrested there for trespassing but later released.
According to the university, Shokunbi is known to follow women to their on-campus housing.
University Police believe he is unhoused. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Shokunbi was described by university police as a black male with a black and gray beard, 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds.
The U is asking anyone who sees Shokunbi to call University Police immediately at 801-585-2677.
Police recommend students us the U’s SafeRide program or a courtesy escort to get around campus and to walk in pairs or groups.
