SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah — A suspect is under arrest after an officer-involved shooting in Saratoga Springs on Thursday afternoon.
A police chase began with a traffic stop. Police said they pulled the suspect over. He was reportedly uncooperative and gave police false information.
Police Chief Andy Burton said shots were fired when police attempted to remove the suspect from the car.
However, police said they don’t know who fired the shots.
Burton said a short pursuit followed. Then, the suspect reportedly abandoned the car and ran into a neighborhood, where police attempted to contain him.
This video was sent to KSL NewsRadio from Carter Hesterman, who saw officials on foot, searching for the suspect. The video was recorded at Peppermint Place in Saratoga Springs.
