Missing American Fork teens found safe in Oregon

AMERICAN FORK — Police say two missing teenagers from Utah have been found in Oregon, with evidence some of their high school classmates were supporting them financially.
Police had been looking for Drake Matthews and Abrahm Chidester, both 17, since last week. They asked students and parents to help them connect with the teens.
Officers believed friends of theirs had been staying in touch with them and sending them money through the Venmo app. It was unclear whether the tips from parents or students helped lead investigators to Chidester and Matthews or if they found them through other means, but the American Fork Police Department said on Facebook they would “shortly be safely on their way home.”
