General Conference to be virtual again in April, church leaders announce

SALT LAKE CITY — For the third time in a row, general conference will be virtual in April, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced in a statement Thursday.
“As a worldwide organization, we have an obligation to be good citizens and to act with caution as it relates to such a unique setting as general conference, which traditionally brings thousands of visitors to Salt Lake City from around the globe,” the First Presidency said, linking to its own statement from last year.
According to the statement from church leaders, the April 2021 general conference will look much like October’s. Only the speakers and their spouses will be present at the Conference Center Theater on Temple Square. Music will be pre-recorded. All sessions will be streamed live.
As with every general conference, whether virtual or not, you can access sessions through the church website as well as on KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM, and the KSL NewsRadio app and website.
