“Mrs. Jennifer Schmidt is in her 15th year of teaching. She works absolute magic with her students, providing clever, insightful and effective individualized instruction and establishing a relationship of mutual trust with each of her students — parents frequently comment on how their child has blossomed beyond expectations while a student in Mrs. Schmidt’s classroom. Mrs. Schmidt is also a highly experienced mentor and team leader and has chaired JSSC and Community Council. She is currently teaching a split class of 5th and 6th graders, she is ESL endorsed, is a trauma-informed teacher and a licensed administrator with a 2nd masters degree in Teacher Leadership. Former students from years past still talk to her and thank her for her love and life-changing guidance during their time in her classroom! She has made a real difference in the lives of several hundred students!”

“Mrs. Schmidt is hands down the best teacher because she has helped this little girl who lost her mom and she is the most selfless person I know. She goes out of her way to help people and her children in her class. She is an amazing person who is going out of her way to help this little girl who is going through a hard time and has done so much for her. We are all so grateful for her and anytime or any day to help kids in her class. She is amazing!”
