Where to get a free COVID-19 test in Utah this week

SALT LAKE CITY– Utah is continuing to offer free rapid COVID-19 tests to members of the community in need of one. Anyone ages three and over are eligible to obtain a free test despite not having symptoms.

Test results from these locations will be emailed to you in an encrypted file from CV19result@utah.gov 30 minutes to several hours after your test is done. If the email doesn’t show up in your inbox, check your spam folder or use another browser. If you have trouble opening the email or it doesn’t come within a few hours, call (385) 273-7878 for assistance.

How To Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus
COVID-19 coronaviruses transmitted from person to person. It is a virus that is similar to the common cold and the flu. So, to prevent it from spreading:
- Wash hands frequently and thoroughly, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds.
- Wear a mask.
- Don’t touch your face.
- Keep children and those with compromised immune systems away from someone who is coughing or sneezing (in this instance, at least six feet)
- If there is an outbreak near you, practice social distancing (stay at home, instead of going to the movies, sports events, or other activities.)
- Get a flu shot.
- Get vaccinated.
