Draper COVID-19 testing site closed for several hours

DARPER, Utah — The Draper COVID-19 testing site closed after the generator died. The site will reportedly remain closed for several hours on Tuesday.
Tuesday morning, the Utah Department of Health announced that a COVID-19 testing site in Draper would open later than normal..

KSL-TV’s Derek Peterson reported from the testing location. He explained that the “equipment troubles” had to do with the location’s generator. The estimated opening time of 8:15 a.m. was delayed. The testing site in Draper would remain closed for several hours and testing at the location was frozen.
Around 9 a.m. the department of health updated the public that mechanics arrived on scene. However, no updated opening time was provided.
We are still working to get this site open. Mechanics have arrived and have started to work on fixing the equipment.
