SALT LAKE CITY — According to the Utah Department of Transportation, all southbound lanes of Bangerter Highway were closed Saturday morning.
In a post from UDOT’s X account, the closure began at 4700 S. to 6200 S. at Mile Marker 16.
UDOT said icy weather conditions caused a crash that occurred Saturday morning, blocking off all lanes and shoulders.
The highway has since been reopened to the public.
“Thank you for your patience and please keep using safe-driving practices, especially now that winter is here,” UDOT said.
