Arrest made in Revolve apartments suspicious death case

MILLCREEK, Utah — Unified Police Department arrested one suspect in the ongoing investigation of a suspicious death at the Revolve apartments. 

According to UPD, several people were at the scene when police arrived and found a man dead. They were detained for questioning and later released. 

“Initial information suggested the shooting may have been accidental or self-inflicted. However, further investigation uncovered inconsistencies,” read the UPD press release. 

Deng Auling, 30, from Millcreek was arrested on March 10. He faces murder charges. 

A gun was found on the scene, along with evidence that “suggested foul play.”

UPD identified the victim as 29-year-old Dominik Philip, who was a Millcreek resident.
