Motorcyclist in critical condition after crashing in Kaysville

SALT LAKE CITY – A motorcyclist is in critical condition after they were found crashed in Kaysville Saturday, according to the Kaysville Police Department.

At approximately 6:20 p.m., police were notified that a citizen found the motorcyclist near 1050 E. and Ward Road, “lying in a grassy area off the shoulder of the road with apparent head injuries,” according to a Facebook post by the Kaysville Police Department.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital by a medical helicopter, police said, and was in critical condition Sunday.

The motorcyclist’s identity was not released at the time of publication, and no information on what led up to the crash was immediately available.
