Lehi Police investigating body found on train tracks

SALT LAKE CITY — Police are investigating after a body was discovered on train tracks in Lehi.
According to Jeanteil Livingston with the Lehi Police Department, the body was found on tracks near 850 East and Pioneer Crossing.
On Friday, the Lehi Police Department identified the person found as Dena Beal, 45, of Lehi.
Livingston said detectives are currently investigating, however they know that no trains were involved in the death.
“At this time, no foul play is suspected,” the Lehi Police Department said Friday.
The department said it is waiting for autopsy and toxicology reports to determine the manner of death.
Due to a police activity on the tracks, the Utah Transit Authority has issued several FrontRunner delays.

“The Lehi Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Ms. Beal’s family and friends during this difficult time,” the department said.
