Kidnapping, burglary suspect arrested near Price Friday afternoon

SALT LAKE CITY — A man was arrested near Price in connection with an incident on Thursday.
According to a Facebook post from the Price Police Department, Rongelio Bustillos was taken into custody at 6:29 p.m.
Police said Bustillos was armed with multiple firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Cpt. Brandon Ratcliffe with the Price City Police Department said Bustillos had said he “wanted a shootout” with police. However, no shots were fired.
Bustillos was apprehended near “the clay banks of an old mine road” near Kenilworth, Utah.
The post states, Bustillos was arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault. All charges stem from the incident that happened on Thursday in Price.
Multiple agencies, including Utah County SWAT, Emory County K9 units, a Department of Public Safety helicopter and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office helped take Bustillos into custody.
