Gap Fire 30% contained at 671 acres

SALT LAKE CITY — The Gap Fire in Millard County reached 671 acres on Saturday while being contained by firefighters at 30%.
According to the Utah Fire Info, the human-caused fire is being contained by several personnel and equipment.
“(Resources on scene include) the Central Utah Type 3 Incident Management Team, 12 Engines, State Task Force, 1 hotshot crew, 4 Type 2 IA hand crews, a Type 3 Helicopter and Diamond Fork Helitack,” the UFI said.
The UFI said resources being used to contain the fire are working to strengthen the containment lines so that the fire doesn’t spread.
