Motorcyclist dead after 3-vehicle crash on I-80

KIMBALL — On Friday afternoon a 3-vehicle crash on I-80 caused heavy delays and at least one death.
Trooper Davies Sanchez with the Utah Highway Patrol told KSL the crash happened at approximately 5:33 p.m. at MP 142.
Two of the vehicles involved were SUVs and the third was a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist has passed but officers still need to notify family before giving out their identity.
The crash blocked 2 lanes leaving only one lane open for traffic causing heavy delays.
As of approximately 9:00 p.m. on Friday night the road is cleared.
