SALT LAKE CITY — President Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social account, asking how Utah ended up with “so many radical left judges,” after a judge tossed out Utah’s current congressional map on Monday.
He said all citizens of Utah should be outraged with what he is calling their activist judiciary and called for the state’s republicans to stand together to keep their four congressional seats.

On Monday, a state district judge said the legislature unconstitutionally ignored a redistricting map that was a result of a voter-approved initiative.
The ruling and President Trump’s post happens during the same time Texas is looking to redraw their maps to add more republican congressional seats. California is proposing to counter by redrawing their maps to add more democratic seats.
