“Kirsten Gunderson teaches Transition classes at Clearfield High School to seniors with IEP’s (Resource students). She has abundant energy, and love for all of her students. At the end of each term, Kirsten will have a project where she will decorate her room in a specific theme and have activities that reenforce the past terms main concepts. Forexample, Nascar, featuring Lightening McQueen, Black Light Night, Soda Shop to name a few. She is exceptional at building trusting, caring relationships with her students. She makes effort to attend events her studetents are involved in, supports the clubs and fund raises at the school, and encourages a strong sense of belonging within Clearfield High. She is a considerable force for good at CHS.”
