“Mrs. Nitiharto is the most patient and understanding kindergarten teacher. She makes every kid feel like they are important and special while helping them feel like what they say matters and that she is really glad that they are there in her class. She has some very challenging students in her class but she doesn’t miss a beat by helping them stay on task and not distracting other students or calling attention to the misbehavior. She teaches the kids to be respectful and kind and to communicate their feelings while making sure they understand why their feelings matter and why others might not like to feel that way. She teaches her students to work hard and think for themselves and that they are capable of anything. She’s amazing and really deserves to be recolonized! My daughter didn’t want to go to school and would cry every night thinking that she had to go to school the next day, Mrs Nitiharto helped her to love school and now she cries when she gets checked out of school early because she doesn’t want to leave. We’re so grateful for Mrs Nitiharto!”
