Layton High School placed on secure status after threat

LAYTON — Layton High School was placed on secure status Thursday as a precaution after a threat, police said.
Lt. Clint Bobrowski with Layton Police said the school was on secure status just after 1 p.m. He said all students were safe.
Bobrowski said the school received a phone call threatening violence, and police were “taking every precaution to ensure the safety of the students.”
