“The things that make miss Thompson a really good teacher is that she is the only math teacher that I have ever had that makes math make any scenes and she has help he so much with math. For example when I didn’t get how to do percents she sat and helped me with learning how to do it until I got it. She has help me with so many other things she is really the best teacher we have I dropped out of some of my electives so I could be in her classes. I will be very sad when I’m in 9th grade because she only teaches 7th and 8th grade. She is the best teacher ever! She makes sure every single kid gets how to do the math we are working on before she moves on and I think that is a really good quality of any good teacher.”

-Aurora Henson

“I am nominating Ms Thompson. The reason that I am choosing Ms. Thompson is because she
is such an incredible teacher because she always makes class amazingly fun. She is always
willing to help me with any kind of math or any homework that I have. She always makes class
fun while still giving us time to learn and it also really helps get the strategies in my head. I have
never liked math it has always been my least favorite subject and it has also always been very
hard and confusing for me. Now that i have joined ms thompsons class my math skills and
confidence in math class. I went from my average grade in math class being a C- at average to
being an A student getting 100% on my tests and being confident and ready for my tests. She is
always willing to stay after to help me with retakes or studying and i am so grateful for her. Their
are so many people that i know or have heard of that she has changed there perspective on
math because she is such an amazing teacher. She is also so nice and kind to everyone and so
welcoming and always makes sure that you are ok and fine with what we are doing and
understand it to the point that if you were to take a test right then and there you would be ready.
Those are the reasons that i think that Ms Thompson should be elected and i hope you do too.”

-Brooklyn H.

“My teacher is amazing, because she somehow made me like math. She is so incredibly cool,
she gives us prizes, and she even lets us pick them out! She also lets us have talking time. The
way she describes math is just so easy. That is why she is my favorite teacher!”

-Anastasia B.

“Mrs. Thompson is a great teacher. she helps her students as much as she can by working out the math problems with them. She also is a very kind person to all her students and coworkers.”
