“There are so many positive things to say here. Dustin Fullmer is the kind of teacher parents quietly hope their child gets when they reach sixth grade, and our family has been lucky enough to have him teach our kids for 3 years in total. He has this rare ability to connect with his students by blending in humor, relatability, and holding clear, consistent boundaries at the same time. He has a quick wit about him and his engaging style makes learning feel enjoyable for my daughter. On the flip side, he still maintains a classroom environment that incorporates respect and accountability for one’s actions. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in our daughter’s education. Dustin truly understands this unique stage of development where kids are stepping out of their childhood, navigating all the changing emotions of the preteen era, and beginning to assert their individuality. It’s definitely not an easy age to teach, but he meets it with grace, patience, and skill. As a parent, I have observed that he brings out the best in his students and makes a lasting impact, not just academically, but personally, too. We are incredibly grateful for the influence he has had on our children’s lives and hope to celebrate his hard work with more than just our words.”
