“Mr. Curtis is the exact teacher our daughter needed this year and we’re so grateful for him! He is patient and kind yet has norms and clear expectations. Our daughter has ADHD and has specifically struggled to be to school on time. He has worked with us and had our daughter’s best interest and needs in mind in how we have all approached how best to help her. A great teacher is motivated by the helping the student progress and learn even when they have differing needs and challenges. This is Mr. Curtis! So may times we have walked our daughter in late and his response (keeping in mind that we have planned and worked together on how to best help our daughter with him and the school administrators) is “We’re just glad she is here!” Not that he is lowering expectations, but he has her best interest in mind. Great person and great educator!”
