“He is always willing to help students no matter what. He is so generous and gives so much to his students.”

-Danti Cummings

“Supportive to all students and incredible teacher!”

-Sofia Sosa

“Mr. Reed is always willing to help us when we are in need. He is so kind and generous. He is always helping students or playing sports with them. He is great at keeping us all in line, but helping us have fun too. Mr. Reed often gives up his lunch time to help us set up a volley ball net or to play basketball even when he is not on duty. He goes the extra mile when helping us make our projects look top notch and falt cool. Mr. Reed is a tender hearted person that is great to be around. Thank you for teaching me!”

-D.C.

“Mr Reed is incredibly supportive for all of the students at Venture Academy and TRULY cares. He will show up when any student needs help or support and is a kind soul. He is a great teacher and teaches us what we need to know while still making things fun. He treats each student equally and if a student needs help he helps that student to the individual needs of the student. He shows up to our school plays as support and is always willing to volunteer for things. For example he helped with our school soccer team and dedicated his time without getting extra pay and will even play fun games and participate in games with students. He is incredibly kind and is patient with all students. He definitely goes above and beyond. He is the best teacher I have ever known and should be recognized for everything he has done.”

-Sofia Sosa

“Mr Reed is an incredibly talented teacher. I, as one of his students know that he is truly amazing and worthy of this award. He is kind and smart. He cares deeply for his students and my school could never be more appreciative that he is here.”

-Amelia

“Mr. Reed is the funniest and most incredible social studies teacher! He always makes the class laugh and lessons more interesting. Assignments are never boring and are always challenging (in a good way). He really is unique and like no other teacher. Mr. Reed handles the kids very well also. No matter how challenging the situation he handles it calmy and never yells. Not many teachers can do that. I have never heard him raise his voice. People assume being very strict is good but he isn’t and it has worked very well. If anybody deserves to be teacher of the month its Mr. Reed. Nobody will fully understand how amazing he is but you just have to believe me. He is one of these teachers I’ve ever had. Everyone at our school loves him! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t! PMr. Reed definitely deserves this award!”

-Rose

“Mr. Reed always makes every kid feel special and unique. He always makes sure that everyone isn’t left out of conversations. He is honestly one of the best teacher venture has ever seen.”

-Emilee Baldridge

“He’s really nice and gives you plants for doing your work and also gives you candy he never really yell unless he really needs to he’ll make you laugh if your sad and hes just a really good teacher and friend he can keep secrets and he’ll help you got with the person you like, all his classes are amazing, sometimes he’ll give you a soda if you have a headache. In general hes really nice and coaches soccer for girls and boys, this will make him so happy and grateful, he has a lot of kids in his classes that dont listen but he’ll do his job well. For big projects he’ll help you if you were gone and he’ll help you even if you just need help, in all honesty he’s just really great.”

-Keatan

“Mr. Reed stands out as the best teacher because of how much he cares about each individual student. He gets to know them and looks out for their needs. Every little and big thing he does shows how much he cares and how great a teacher and person he is. Mr. Reed makes a difference both inside and outside of his classroom by keeping things clean, taking care of the school garden, picking up trash, taking things to the lost and found, and many other responsibilities that he doesn’t even get paid for! He does so much for the school, each student and staff member. Even though Mr. Reed is a middle school teacher, he helps out in the younger grades as well. He befriended multiple kindergartners and first graders and helps them stay on task in their classes. This is a great service that he does for the little kids and their teachers. He celebrates each win with us as his students and is very supportive of our academic growth. He plans fun activities in class that help us learn and grow without being bored out of our minds. Mr. Reed truly is the most incredible teacher I have ever had, and he goes above and beyond in everything he does.”
