“Aimee Anderson is the consummate professional when it comes to teaching. Her curriculum is flawless and varied, her appearance is stunning (which goes a long way with Jr. High students), and her approach is caring and in-charge. She teaches 7th grade English and the students come out of her class with a new discipline-rich vocabulary and a confidence in their own reading and writing that any teacher would envy.
Not only does she teach 7th graders, but she spends half of her days teaching teachers. She’s an instructional coach at Farmington Jr. High with over five dozen teachers and paraprofessionals. She’s always ready with an encouraging word and an invitation to go through a learning cycle so that the rest of us can improve our teaching styles and strategies. I’ve personally worked with Aimee and have come through with measurable improvement and a stronger grasp on my own curriculum and teaching practices. Overall, Aimee Anderson makes a huge difference at Farmington Jr. High and deserves the very best accolades the public can provide.”
