SALT LAKE CITY — A jury has found the driver who hit and killed longtime Salt Lake Bees announcer Steve Klauke guilty of negligent homicide.

Klauke was hit in a crosswalk in Sandy by Douglas Miln in June 2024. Police said Miln didn’t slow down when turning the corner and hit Klauke at 20 miles an hour.

After just hours of deliberation on Thursday afternoon, the jury returned with a guilty verdict.
